Graduate Studies
Anthropology
University of British Columbia

In 2015 I began Graduate Studies in Socio-Cultural Anthropology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. My intention was to research present day perceptions of an  Indigenous World View, Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) and Place-based Education.
I graduated with an MA from UBC in Anthropology in November 2017

"Pathways to Sustainability: Creating Connection through Place-based Indigenous Knowledge"

My research is titled "Pathways to Sustainability: Creating Connection through Place-based Indigenous Knowledge" By creating formal educational sessions led by Indigenous educators and offered to non-indigenous students, my research investigated whether Traditional Ecological Knowledge and Place-based education altered the students' common perceptions and actions around sustainability.
